The entrance to the Sequoia National Park and King's Canyon National Park is just up the road in Three Rivers. In addition to the magnificent Giant Sequoia trees, you will also find cross-country skiing, backpacking, hiking, camping, camping and fishing.
All with appreciably less traffic than Yosemite to the North.
Access to the adjacent Lake Kaweah is at this time about 10 minutes drive away, but with the planned raising of the lake water-level will come right up to the resort.
Houseboats and Jet Skis can be rented from the Marina.
The local Three Rivers Golf Course offers a scenic and challenging 9-hole course, right on the river.
Whitewater Rafting. Ten separate organizations offer professional rafting trips down the Kaweah River
